The Dance of the White Dragon

The Lunar New Year on February 10th marks the year of the Wood Dragon. What is the energy of Dragon? Vast, grand, this energy makes anything possible together, when endeavored together.

What prayer is vast enough to warrant an invocation of Dragon? What do we pray for at the inception of a year when everything is possible? 

It is no coincidence that Quan Yin’s ally is the White Dragon. The energy of lightning clarity, and awareness, we learn to embody what Dragon energy has available for us by calling a prayer through our bodies for the ultimate liberation of all beings through unconditional compassion.

In moving this prayer through our bodies for the world, we heal the collective while simultaneously clearing the illusion within us that keeps us from our wholeness.

As we pray for the whole, so we pray for ourselves.

As we liberate the whole, so we liberate ourselves. 

About the Experience:

This is a participatory healing and movement arts experience. Part dance, part ritual, part systemic constelation, part somatic experiencing - you are invited to move a prayer for compassionate realization through your body for the world.

In the process, you will receive and co-transmit enlightened energy through your body.

As we move together, we move our individual and collective grief, pain, illusion, and welcome individual and collective light, awakening, peace.

Through a collective process, we realize unconditional compassion and the liberation that comes with it - for ourselves, for each other, and for the world.

How it works:

Set to powerful sound and music, you will be guided to whatever level of movement you feel comfortable with - from gentle swaying to fully expressed dance all is welcome and nothing expected. We will orient our intention to the realization of all beings through compassion and move for about 1 hour. Time will be offered after to share and connect.

Feeling fully:

In the process of this experience, you may feel a little, you may feel a lot. You may feel emotions, energy moving through you, you may be given insight that serves you or the world. The invitation is to feel fully with the understanding that anything and everything here for you is a gift - an opportunity to experience life more fully.

As with life, this is also 100% directed by you with the potential to feel less, more, to totally surrender or say no to any or all of it. The energy transmitted will offer you what you are ready for, and as always, we invite your prayer as you feel open and available with loving compassion for where you are at, always. 🤍
